I went on a blind date with this guy my sister said I might get along with. "He's pretty weird like you. He's into Jazz and The Twilight Zone." Is what my sister said. I had to drive out to Eugene because he doesn't have a car. He was such an asshole. He told me I was like Enid from Ghost World but with no tits. I have tits they're just not Thora Birch sized Jesus Fucking Christ. He thought he was giving me a compliment.
I know my sister meant well but I want to smack her upside the head. I felt like shit after that. He said I had a nice butt so it was okay that I didn't have any boobs. I ate my food and walked out on him afterwards. I have to admit assholes can be charming sometimes but backhanded compliments aren't smooth. When I got home I looked on craigslist for photographers and found a student in Parsons. The next day I went out there to help her with a project and to make myself feel better.
